Lost + Found Drinkery: Nicosia After Hours

A small bar with a big reputation, proper cocktails and the kind of vibe that makes you accidentally stay out late.

The easiest kind of night, one drink turns into two.

If you ask someone in Nicosia where to go for a good cocktail, Lost + Found comes up quickly. Not in a hype way, more like it is the obvious answer. It’s central, it’s busy, and it has that mix of locals and travellers that usually means you picked the right place.

It’s also not huge, so timing matters. Go early if you want a seat. Go later if you want the louder version of the night. Either way, the room has energy without trying too hard.

“You go for one and end up staying.”

The Reputation is Real

Lost and Found Drinkery recognised as one of the world’s top 50 bars

There’s a lot of “best bar in…” talk online, but this one has receipts. The top 50 mention is something people actually come in for, and you can tell the bar has built its name over years, not months.

What we liked is it doesn’t feel like a trophy room. Nobody’s trying to educate you. It’s just a good bar doing its thing, and if you care about lists, you’ll notice the sign. If you don’t, you’ll still have a great time.

It’s the kind of place you could bring someone who is picky about cocktails, and you would feel safe recommending it.

Order Like a Normal Person

You don’t need to overthink the menu here. Start with something familiar (martini, negroni, old fashioned) and you’ll get a good read on the room straight away.

The staff are also good at that quick chat that saves you from ordering wrong. Sweet, boozy, citrusy, smoky, they steer you without the lecture. If you want something more “their style”, ask what they’re making a lot of that night.

And yes, it’s a place where little details matter. Not in a dramatic way, just the kind of care that makes the drink taste exactly how it should.

The People Behind the Bar

This is the part that gets mentioned a lot in reviews, the staff. Friendly, quick, and not precious about it. Even when it’s busy, it still feels like they’re paying attention.

There’s a confidence to the way they work that makes you relax. You don’t feel like you’re interrupting their process. They just get on with it, and the drinks keep coming out consistent.

If you’re the type who likes sitting at the bar and watching the flow, go earlier in the night and grab a stool if you can.

If You Need Food, You’re Covered

One of the underrated things about Lost + Found is you can actually eat. Not a huge menu, but enough to keep you going, especially if you’ve been out since dinner and suddenly realise you probably need something.

People talk about the fried chicken and ramen for a reason, it’s comfort food that fits the setting. It’s also great for sharing if you’re in a group and want to slow the pace down a bit.

Basically, it turns “let’s just go for a drink” into a full night without you needing to bounce around.

The Quick Take

If you want a bar that feels like an actual night out (not a tourist box tick), this is the one. Strong drinks, good music, a crowd that makes the room feel alive, and staff who can handle both cocktail nerds and people who just want something delicious.

Go early for a seat, go later for the peak energy, and don’t overthink the order. You’ll end up having a better night than planned.
